Photos & Media

Great photos sell aircraft. This guide covers what to upload, how many photos your plan includes, and how Reflya protects your images.

Buyers consistently look for:

  • Exterior: all four quarters, plus close-ups of paint condition.
  • Interior: seats, headliner, and carpet from multiple angles.
  • Panel: a straight-on shot with avionics powered up.
  • Logbooks and records: recent entries buyers will ask about anyway.

Shoot in good light, keep the hangar clutter out of frame, and upload the highest resolution you have. Reflya generates the right sizes automatically, and your full photo is always preserved (we never crop your images).

Shoot landscape. Reflya displays your photos in wide frames: roughly 3:2 in the listing gallery and 4:3 on search results and listing cards. A landscape photo fills those frames edge to edge.

Portrait photos still work, and buyers see the full image when they open it in the gallery. But in card views the frame shows the middle of a tall photo, so a portrait shot of your vertical stabilizer may appear as just the middle section until the buyer clicks in. If you have the choice, turn the camera sideways.

The one place portrait shines is panel and interior detail shots viewed full screen, so do not delete them. Just lead your listing with landscape exterior photos, since your first photo is the one buyers see everywhere.

Every image served on Reflya is watermarked, and original files are never exposed publicly. That means your photos cannot be scraped at full quality and reused elsewhere without attribution.
